Spinach Quiche

Meatless Meal

  • 1 Tbsp. Butter

  • 16 oz. frozen chopped Spinach or your own blanced. (* must drain completly)

  • 6 large Eggs

  • 1/2 cup Sour Cream or Plain Yougart

  • 1/2 tsp. Salt

  • 1/4 tsp. Black Pepper

  • 1 tsp. Garlic

  • 1tsp. Onion Powder may also add diced onion if desired

  • 1/2 tsp Thyme

  • 1/2 cup Parmessiona Cheese Dry Grated

  • OPTIONAL ITEMS: 1/4 cup grated cheddar sprinkeled ontop, sun-dried Tomatoes, bits of bacon or ham.

Step1

Completly drain the spinach (This is a must)


Step 2

Preheat oven to 400. Grease a 9" pie plate, bottom and sides


Step 3

Whisk together the eggs, yougart/sour cream, salt, pepper and spices. Spoon in the drained spinach and parmessiona cheese.


Step 4

Pour egg mixture into prepared pie plate. Bake for 25-30 minutes. (Sides will be brown and center set)


Step 5

Allow to cool for 15 minutes prior to serving.
