Nutty Quinoa with Dates and Cinnamon
Serves 2

An Amino Acid Powerhouse Breakfast
Ingredients
1 cup of Quinoa
3 cups of spring water
1/2 cup of walnuts
1 tablespoon of chia seeds
2 tablespoons of flax seeds
1/4 cup of raisins
4 dates
5 or 6 shakes of cinnamon
2 tablespoons of unsalted butter or ghee
Rinse quinoa. Add the quinoa into a 2 qt pot and cover with 2 cups of water. Bring to a boil, then simmer for 10 -12 minutes.
Break the walnuts into the pot. Add the chia and flax seeds. If needed, add more water.
Stir and simmer for another 1 minute.
Sprinkle the raisins and cinnamon in.
Pit the dates and cut them into smaller pieces, into the quinoa. Cover and simmer for an additional minute. If needed, add more water.
Add butter to each bowl. Enjoy this healthy breakfast ( :
